Special EVENT: FRIDAY 30 OCTOBER MENU

We are delighted to be part of a special event hosted by the Torc Ceili Club and the Fremantle Workers’ Club that will transform the evening into a celebration of Samhaim Ceili - as told by the Torc Ceili Club:

In early Ireland, Samhain marked a turning point in the agricultural year, dividing the light half from the dark. Medieval Irish tales often set their feasts, gatherings and encounters with supernatural beings at Samhain, when journeys into the Otherworld were said to be most likely. The name Samhain (pronounced SOW‑in) is also widely celebrated today by pagans as the Witches’ New Year. Book a table for dinner, with entertainment beginning at 6pm. It will be an evening of tunes, dances, folklore and a little spooky fun at our Samhain Céilí.

Bring the kids — and the big kids — in their best dress‑up. We’ll have tricks, treats, and a night full of fantastic Irish music, céilí dancing, waltzing, singing and more. Come celebrate the turning of the year the Irish way.
